Chapter 3
Ben looked at Maria after Meg was gone. "Well we are finally alone" he smiled. I put his hand on her arm. "I have some news Maria some of it is good but some is really bad." "Just tell me what it is Ben, I can't take the suspense anymore." Maria looked at him wondering what he could of found. "Well I found out some information about your time in Seattle and about Benji. You were never admitted into the hospital but there was a doctor who was arrested for accessory to kidnapping." Ben said trying to figure out the best way to phrase himself. Maria looked at him "I don't understand Ben" "Well it turned out this Dr. had kept a young woman drugged and on mind control pills for 5 years, the 5 years you were missing Maria. Tess and Derek were also charged with crimes, but they fled before they could be arrested." Ben paused to see how Maria was taking all this in. Maria walked away from Ben, she felt so confused then she flashed to the one memory she had of the missing five years she remembered laying in a bed and Tess over her, telling her she will be as right as rain. But she remembered more this time around; she remembered trying to respond and a heavy feeling that she had in her body like she could hardly move. The one thing that helped was feeling a baby kick. She jumped when she felt a hand on her shoulder. "MAria, I know this is a lot to take in right now..." She cut Ben off "The baby kicked, I remember Benji kicking" She told him happily, she remembered the love she felt while she was pregnant. Ben smiled at her. "That's wonderful news Maria." He decided that was enough for now, he wanted to give her a chance to enjoy her memory and her closeness to Benji before he told her what else he found out. "How about Family dinner tonight? Just you, me and Benji." Maria smiled, "I'd love that English"
